William "Don" Donney Smith

William Donney (Don) Smith was born January 26, 1945 in Jackson, TN the son of the late William Mangrum and Alma Beulah House Smith.
He was united in marriage to Wanda Arnold who survives.
Mr. Smith drove for United Parcel Service for over 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a member of Pinson Baptist Church, and enjoyed woodworking and spending time in his shop.
Mr. Smith departed this life on June 17, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 4 Months, 22 Days. He is survived by his wife Wanda Arnold Smith of Olive Hill, TN; a son, Donald Ray Smith and wife Laura Lee and a daughter, Leslie Dawn Smith, all of Henderson, TN; a step-daughter, Shana Rhodes and husband Paul and a step-son, Ryan Young, all of Savannah, TN; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer. Graveside service will be at 11:15 AM at Hope McNairy County Memorial Cemetery in Selmer, TN with Phillip Meek officiating.
