William Hubert Davis

Mr. Davis died November 12 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. He was born in Hardeman County, son of the late Harry P. and Bessie Lee Parks Davis and was owner/operator of Davis Grading Company in Collierville. He served in the US Army from 1953-55 and was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. The widower of Gailya Pusser Davis, who died on September 27, 2004, he was also a member of West Memorial Baptist Church.



Survivors include a son and his wife, William Hayes 'Bill' Davis and Patricia, both of Collierville; and two grandchildren, Emily Lynn Davis and Tyler Anthony Davis, both of Collierville. In addition to his wife, to whom he was married for 39 years, and his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Robert Davis and a sister, Ernestine Davis Sharp.
