William Rudolph Cleek

William Rudolph Cleek, Sr., 86, of Medon, died Sunday morning, March 11, 2007 at the West Tennessee Veteran's Home in Humboldt.
Born January 21, 1921 in Chester County, son of the late George Lee Cleek and Lela Frye Cleek, he was married to Linnie Mae Carter Cleek on November 11, 1937 and was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He retired from Colonial Bakery in Jackson and was a member of New Union Baptist Church near Medon.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter, Mary Wiggins of Houston, Tex.; one son, Wayne Cleek of Medon; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Rudy and Edward Cleek.
