William Douglas Bowling

William Douglas Bowling was born November 16, 1933 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late William P. and Ersel W. Gallaher Bowling. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Paula Leverette. Mr. Bowling departed this life on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at his home in Unionville, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 13 Days. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and a member of House of Prayer Ministries in Shelbyville, TN.He is survived by his wife Lela M. Bowling of Unionville, TN; three daughters, Rhonda K. Stringer of St. Albans, WV, Judy G. Leverette of Unionville, TN, and Barbara L. Mathis of Acworth, GA; five sisters, Thelma Beatty of Waynesboro, TN, Margaret Conway, Sue Conway, and Rebecca Cole all of Clifton, TN, Edna Woods of Pickwick, TN; two brothers, Malcolm Bowling of Knoxville, TN and Dale Bowling of Lewisburg, TN; Services will be Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bryan Nerren officiating. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
