William Arthur (Pete) Baggett

William Arthur (Pete) Baggett was born August 29, 1935 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Willie Baggett and the late Hester Rich Baggett.He was united in marriage to Mary D. Smith on November 16, 1960. He was a retired timber cutter and farmer and a baptist.Mr. Baggett departed this life on Friday, March 17, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days.Survivors are his wife Mary D. Baggett of Adamsville, Tennessee; four daughters, Shelia Waldrop of Selmer, Tennessee, Tina King of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Kathy Linn Baggett of LaFayette, Georgia, and Tammy Hurst of Henderson, Tennessee; a son William Allen Baggett of Finger, Tennessee, three sisters, Mary Edna Melton of Ramer, Tennessee, Ann Sims of Memphis, Tennessee, and Lula Mosier of Montezuma, Tennessee.7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-GrandchildrenOther than his parents, Mr. Baggett was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Lou Garner, Faye Hearn, and Martha Fortune, and two brothers, Donald Franklin Baggett and Sam Baggett.
