William Richard Anderson

William Richard Anderson Jr. was born April 27, 1925 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late William Richard Anderson, Sr. and Eddith Stricklin Anderson. Mr. Anderson departed this life on November 13, 2008 at Savannah Healthcare at the age of 83 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days. He was preceded in death by brothers, Bobby and Rufus Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was formerly employed as a deck hand with ACBC River Trasportation and a member of Clifton Revial Center and the Clifton Masonic Lodge. He is survived by son, Richard Andrew (Andy) Anderson and his wife Lisa Marie of Havelock, NC; grandchildren, Connor Richard Anderson and Case Michael Anderson; brother, Jerry Anderson of Clifton, TN; and a sister, Wanda Hoskins, of Savannah, TN.
