Willard Lee Dickey

Willard Lee (Bill) Dickey was born September 10, 1938 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late George Washington and Louise McDaniel Dickey.Mr. Dickey was a Greeter at the Tru-Savers Hardware store in Selmer where he met and made many friends.He attended Mt.Gilead Baptist Church. Some of his favorite pastimes were listening to country music on the radio, especially Conway Twitty, He loved being in the outdoors, visiting the city park, and spending time with his family and friends.Mr. Dickey departed this life on December 12, 2012 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 3 Months, 2 Days. He is survived by four daughters, Deborah Bivens of Columbia, TN, Lisa Hill and husband Roy of Selmer, TN, Rena Smith and husband Danny of Selmer, TN, Tammy Carlin and husband Gordon of Selmer, TN; a son, Michael Dickey and wife Melissa of Bethel Springs, TN; thirteen grandchildren, two great grand children, one brother, and six sisters.In addition to his parents, Mr. Dickey was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lee Dickey.
