Willa Mae Gilchrist, age 71, of Southland Drive, Florence died Saturday, October 1, 2005 at her home in Florence. She was born in Wayne County August 7, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Bertie Rich Brewer, son Kenneth Howard Gilchrist, and granddaughter, Tammy Diane Gilchrist. She was a former seamstress at Reltoc Manufacturing and a Freewill Baptist.
She is survived by her husband Vernon H. Gilchrist
