Mr. Will Frank Kennedy, age 81 of Bolivar, passed from this life at his home on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
Mr. Kennedy was born July 25, 1931 in Middleton, TN to Clarence Eugene and Daisy Bell McMahan Kennedy. On December 22, 1953, he married Garnetta Mae McClung, who survives. He lived in Lincoln, Nebraska and moved back to Hardeman County in 1967, loved working on different machinery and was a Mason. He was a supervisor at Kilgore from 1967-72 and at Wilder Youth Center from 1973-1990. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Lawler and husband Ronald of Bolivar, and Cathy Stack of Dunnellon, FL; a son, William Frank Kennedy of Benton, AR; a sister Dalmer Hammett of New Madrid, MO; 6 grandchildren Daniel Stack and wife Jin of Orlando, FL., Dustin Kennedy and wife Theresa of Memphis, Michael Kennedy of Benton, AR, Chasity Edden of Bryant, AR, Marcus Kennedy and wife Tammy of Riley, NC, Jeanie Foster McCarver; 10 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Foster of Bolivar, Courtney and Brianna Foster of Jackson, Colton and Landon Kennedy of Memphis, Corey, Grant and Scott Kennedy of North Carolina, Nikki and Shane Marks of Bryant, AR, 1 great great grandchild expected to arrive in March, and his dog, his faithful companion "Scarlett". He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Ronald "Face" and Dusty Kennedy; a granddaughter Kimberly Hale; a grandson Bobby Foster; a greatgrandson David Hale, Jr.; a brother James Willard Kennedy, a half-brother R. D. Whaley; and a son-in-law, Roach Stack.
