Wilburn Glin Michael

Wilburn Glin (Mike) Michael of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Selmer, passed from this life on December 19, 2012. He was the beloved son of the late Sam Turner Michael and Mary Ethel Hawkins Michael. Mr. Michael was a retired railroad engineer. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a Mason. He is the devoted father of Edward Michael and his wife Betty, Barbara Martin and her husband Keith, and Glinna Michael; loving grandfather of Scott, Rob, Dan, Matt, and Colleen Michael, Pam Orr, Dayson and Damien Wagner; great grandfather of Moira, Maeve, Maddox, Emma, Kaitlyn, Rylee, and Damien, Jr. A host of extended relatives and friends.Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 1:00 PM, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer with Bro. Jetta Forsythe officiating.Interment with military honors will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.
