Wendy Padgett Mauldin was born September 22, 1969 in Elmhurst, IL the daughter of the late Anthony Wayne and Vivian Arlene Jones Padgett.
She was united in marriage to Edward Choen Mauldin on December 1, 1995.
Wendy was a nurse and caregiver by trade which resonated throughout her life. She was the mother of 2, a wife and Beezy to her grandson, Miles. Her kitchen was the heart of her home - she loved cooking and feeding her family and friends. She lived life to the fullest, always put others first, and made sure her family knew she loved them.
Wendy departed this life on February 22, 2022 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 52 Years, 5 Months. She is survived by her husband Edward "Ed" Choen Mauldin of Michie, TN; two sons, Eric Shane Padgett of Lakeland, TN, Nicholas Camron Smith of La Mesa, CA; a grandson, Miles Choen Padgett; a sister, Lisa Padgett Hudson and husband Bradford Hudson, Jr. of Michie, TN; a brother, Terry Wayne Padgett and wife Rhonda of Parsons, TN; nieces, Haley Hudson and Chelsea Padgett; nephew, Joshua Hudson; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be set a later date.
