Welbert N. Weeks of Adamsville, Tennessee, formerly of Milan was born on December 1, 1925, the son of the late Alfie N. Weeks and Mary Harris Weeks. He was a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Milan, a U. S. Navy World War II veteran, and a retired truck driver.Mr. Weeks passed from this life on Saturday, May 19, 2007, in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 4 days.Survivors are 2 daughters, Linda Loe and husband Roy of Drexel, Missouri, and Shirlon Hardin and husband Wayne of Adamsville; a son Steve Weeks and wife Kay of Pocahontas, Tennessee.Also survived by 3 sisters, Virginia Finley, Freeda Bricker, and Brenda Pickens, all of Adamsville; 4 brothers, Elvin Weeks, Doyle Weeks, and Waylon Weeks, all of Adamsville, and Arvis Weeks of Bethel Springs, Tennessee.7 Grandchildren and 11 Great-GrandchildrenA host of other relatives and friends.Other than his parents, Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his wife Fay and a brother Shannon Weeks.
