W.C. PEVAHOUSE, SR.
was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on January 17, 1933 the son of the late Chesley Milburn and Mary Ada Warren Pevahouse.
On June 10, 1983 he was united in marriage to Naomi Louise Murphy, who survives.
W. C. retired after 25 years from the Hardin County Highway Department, where he worked as a mechanic. He also owned his own worm farm called "Pevahouse Worm Farm" and also owned and operated bull dozers. W. C. was a member of Savannah Foursquare Church. He loved fishing, going to church, playing the guitar and spending time with his family and grandchildren. W. C. loved working with his hands, especially doing wood work.
He departed this life on January 18, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years and 1 day.
In addition to his wife of 35 years, Naomi, he is survived by his children, W. C. Pevahouse, Jr., Charles Alan Pevahouse, Sr. and Robert Earl Pevahouse, all of Savannah, Tennessee; 5 step children; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren.
W. C. was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kenneth Carol Ward, brothers, Milburn, Brown and Forrest Pevahouse and sisters, Hester Turnbo, Lochie Brashier and Carrie Cleo Pevahouse.
