Mr. Roberts lived in the Counce area all of his life and was a towboat captain with Evansville Barge and Marine, in Evansville, Indiana, for approximately 25 years.
He departed this life on March 11, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 53 years and 7 months.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his daughter, Angie Roberts of Savannah, Tennessee and a sister, Eulene Roberts of Counce, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Roberts.
