Wayne Howell, 76, of Middleton, passed away Tuesday morning, December 21, 2021 at Bolivar General Hospital. No services are scheduled.
He was born Thursday, May 31, 1945, in Hardeman County, son of the late Alfred Thomas Howell and Louise Sisco Howell and lived in various places, including Michigan, but had lived here since the 1970's. He worked as a driver for Reeves Trucking and also worked as a carpenter and mechanic until he became disabled in 1998. He enjoyed staying at home, watching movies and being with his animals, whom he loved. Mr. Howell was Baptist in faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Frances Thornton of Bolivar and Dorothy Louise Stewart (Mike) of Selmer; two brothers, David Howell (Martha) of Middleton and Johnny Howell (Brenda) of Bolivar; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ola Harris, Brenda Faye Howell and Linda Kaye Gardner; and a brother, Charles Ray Howell, Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to Hebron Baptist Church.
