Waymon "Glen" Boyd

Waymon "Glen" Boyd of Clifton was born June 26, 1952 in Hohenwald , TN, the son of the late William Earl and Rothie Nell Casner Boyd. He was united in marriage to Glenda Sue Bartlett on Saturday, October 17, 1970. Mr. Boyd was a self employed A.C. Repair Technician, and electrician. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Mr. Boyd departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 10 Days. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Sue Bartlett Boyd of Clifton, TN, daughters, Melody Lynn Junker and husband, Shawn, Christina Sue Free and husband, Brian, Jennifer Lynn Kea and husband,Rob all of Clifton, TN and Melissa Dawn Dunn and husband, Keith of Humbolt, TN, one son, William Glen Boyd and wife Shannon of Clifton, TN, one brother, Jesse Clarence Boyd and wife Denise of Waynesboro, TN; four brothers in law Stephen Everett (Glen) Bartlett of Lebanon, MO, Robert (Bob) Gene Bartlett of Galesburg, IL, Michael James Bartlett of Galesburg, IL, Donald Patrick Bartlett of Knoxville, TN, one sister, Nell Hickerson and husband Jeff of Waynesboro, TN, three sisters in law, Shirley Morgan Boyd of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jane Bartlett of Monmouth, IL, and Lisa Bartlett of Galesburg, IL, seven grandchildren, Brett Junker, Candace Kea, Colton Junker, Zoegrace Boyd, Olivia Free, Thomas Free, and Hayden Dunn, six nieces Marcy Gowen, Martha Hammack, Pam Melson, Chloe Bryant, Stephenie Ballew, and Michelle Bartlett. nine nephews, Nick Boyd, Timmy Boyd, Brandon Reeves, Floyd Lang, Noah Bartlett, Ryan Bartlett, Matt Bartlett, Scott Bartlett, and Michael Upton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Earl Boyd and sister Yvonne Dale Reeves.

Services will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Tracy Love officiating. Burial will follow in Prater's Chapel Cemetery near Clifton, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Matthew Bartlett, Scott Bartlett, Colten Junker, Siron Culp, Nick Boyd, and Nathaniel Ainsley.
