Warren Shelby

WARREN SHELBYwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 14, 1920 the son of the late Nathan and Lela Alexander Shelby.In 1947 he was united in marriage to the former Grace Franks, who survives.Mr. Shelby was a retired farmer. He also was a taxi driver in Savannah. Mr. Shelby enjoyed hunting and gardening.He departed this life on May 21, 2008 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 7 days.Other than his wife, Grace of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Sue Rickman of Savannah, Tennessee and one son, Charles Ray Greenwell of Savannah, Tennessee.one grandson, David Rickman and his wife MarileeMr. Shelby was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Jewel Shelby, Vivian Falls, Elsie Cagle and Rosella Allison and 6 brothers, Raymond, Charles, Hardy, Grady, Otis and Sherman Shelby.
