Warren G. Franks

Warren G. Franks was born February 19, 1921 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Henry Caywood and Nora May Franks.On June 16, 1946, he was united in marriage to Blanche Norton who preceded him in death on January 6, 2006.Mr. Franks was a buyer and Vice President of sales for House Hasson Hardware Co. He was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Franks had previously lived in Knoxville, Tennessee and Halls Crossroads, Tennessee. He had taught school at Halls High School. Mr. Franks proudly served his country in the United Sates Marine Corps during World War II.Mr. Franks departed this life on November 12, 2010 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days. He is survived by two sisters, Robbie Hall and Mildred Sue Jones both of Savannah, TN.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Franks was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Tharpe, Birdie Gillmore, and Gladys Harmon; and nine brothers, Grandy Franks, Samuel O'dell Franks, Archie Franks, William Franks, Joe Hardin Franks, Carmack Franks, Kermit Franks, Cardin Franks, and Lawerence Franks.
