Wanda Elaine Creecy Rich

Wanda Elaine Creecy Rich was born November 27, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, TN, the daughter of the late Elbert Orlean and Lucille Estell Brison Creecy. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Paul Rich on June 25, 1994. Mrs. Rich was a bus driver for the Wayne County Board of Education and was a member of the Zion Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee.

Mrs. Rich departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the home of her brother, Dennis Creecy, Westpoint, Tennessee at the age of 62 Years, 5 Months, 11 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Paul Rich of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Robert Mericer and wife, Chrissy of Buchanan, TN and Jimmie Paul Rich, Jr. of Canton, OH; a daughter, Sheree Randolph of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Kelsey, Zack and Tyler Clayton, Daria, Lucinda, Willow and Celia Mericer and Arena Rich; great-grandchild, Gracelynn Clayton; brothers, Raymond Creecy and wife, Ellen of Waynesboro, TN, Dennis Creecy and wife, Janice of Westpoint, TN; a sister, Linda Newborn; father-in-law, Russell C. Rich of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Virginia Tyler and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Newborn.

Services will be Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Jerry L. Robbins and Danny Huckaba officiating. Burial will follow in Shawnettee Memory Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2019 from 11 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Zack Clayton, Tyler Clayton, Mike Reed, Mason Gallagher,Chris Creecy and Kyle Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hicks, Wayne Hicks, Kenny Nutt, Robert Anderson, Mark Jordan and Cody Hicks.
