Wanda Pugh Davis was born on January 24, 1934 in Enville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Howard Valentine and Lillie Dee Meek Pugh.
On October 30, 1949 she was united in marriage to Willie Daniel Davis, who preceded his wife in death on December 20, 2010.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Jesus Name Cherry Grove United Pentecostal Church. She was retired from Savannah Manufacturing where she worked as a seamstress for many years. Wanda was a devoted pastor's wife and lived in Enville, Tennessee for most of her life. She also enjoyed playing musical instruments.
Wanda Pugh Davis departed this life on October 15, 2016 at the age of 82 years, 8 months, 21 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Dollie Hollin and her husband Jerry, of Enville, Tennessee; sister, Faye Cagle of Enville, Tennessee; brother, Wayne Pugh and his wife Ann, of Milledgeville, Tennessee; special granddaughter, Bessica Wyatt of Reagan, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews that cherished and adored her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Pugh.
Visitation will begin at Jesus Name Cherry Grove Pentecostal Church on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 5:00 PM and continue until service time on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Milledgeville Cemetery.
