Walter Lewis Paschick of Waynesboro, TN was born September 14, 1929 in Midland, MI, the son of the late Walter Frank and Pearl Gilman Paschick. He was united in marriage to Anita Mae Woodbury on May 6, 1950.
Mr. Paschick, formerly of Michigan, was a retired head of maintenance at a General Motor's technical center. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and served in both the United States Air Force and United States Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Paschick was an avid hunter and fisherman and greatly enjoyed woodworking, especially building one-of-a-kind furniture.
Mr. Paschick departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his home following an extended battle with cancer at the age of 83 years, 7 months, 6 days just two weeks prior to his and Mrs. Anita's sixty-third wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Mae Woodbury Paschick of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Walter David Paschick of Michigan; two daughters, Dawn Marie Bishop of Oklahoma and Denise Elizabeth Lumbardo of Michigan; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Paschick was preceded in death by a grandson.
At his request, his body was cremated and a memorial service and burial will be scheduled at a later time in Michigan.
