Services for Walter N. Kilburn, age 85, Waynesboro, TN will be Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, with Larry Janes and W. C. Flippo officiating. Burial will be in Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
He died at Wayne Co. Nursing Home, Waynesboro, Tuesday, July 10, 2007.
A native of Wayne County, TN, Mr. Kilburn was a retired inspector at Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company in Lawrenceburg, TN, was a member of Green River Tabernacle, and was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a son of the late Perry H. and Callie Lee Kilburn and was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers.
Survivors, wife, Mae Prince Kilburn, Waynesboro, son, Danny L. Kilburn, Rockvale, TN, 5 granchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Rosa Odle, Waynesboro, nieces and nephews.
He died at Wayne Co. Nursing Home, Waynesboro, Tuesday, July 10, 2007.
