WALT COGGINS
Was born in Adamsville, Tennessee on July 5, 1953 the son of Avanelle Smith Coggins Grant and the late Raymond Norris Coggins.
On May 18, 2000 he was united in marriage to the former Susan Elaine Stoner, who survives.
Mr. Coggins was a truck driver for 20 years. He was a very avid fisherman. Mr. Coggins loved hunting, mud slinging, Dodge trucks and loved his dog, Jake. He was the first Adamsville boy that was an Eagle Scout.
Mr. Coggins departed this life on June 24, 2006 in Louisiana at the age of 52 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Other than his wife, Susan of Crump, Tennessee, he is survived by one son, Jerimiah Coggins of McKenzie, Tennessee.
One step-son, Lonnie Carter of Savannah, Tennessee.
One step-daughter, Michelle Steely of Morris Chapel, Tennessee
8 step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild
His mother, Avanelle Coggins Grant of Adamsville, Tennessee.
One sister, Gail Newman of Adamsville, Tennessee.
Other than his father, Mr. Coggins was also preceded in death by one sister, Terisa Elaine Coggins.
