Wallace Howard

Wallace Howardwas born in Kendrick, Mississippi on August 7, 1927 the son of the late Leonard Ray and Elizabeth Cummings Howard.Mr. Howard was a Boat Captain for America Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) for 32 years, he retired in 1994. Mr. Howard departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the age of 81 years, 5 months, 15 days.Mr. Howard is survived by his wife, Mae Adams Howard of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 sons, Bobby Howard, Charles Howard, Joey Howard all of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Leslie Howard of Durham, North Carolina; a sister, Edna Earl Turnbow of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Shane Howard, Kevin Howard, and Sabrina Howard; 3 great-grandchildren, Nicholas Howard, Benjamin Howard, and Landon Howard.In addition to his parents, Mr. Howard was preceded in death by 2 infant brothers and a sister, Ruth McCain.
