W. S. Hime

W. S. HIME

was born in Perry County, Tennessee on May 17, 1928 the son of the late Jesse Alfred and Clara Beatrice Culp Hime.

On May 16, 1948 he was united in marriage to Mary Lucille Allen, who survives.

Mr. Hime was a shovel operator for Vulcan Materials. He attended Clifton Revival Center Church in Clifton, Tennessee for 55 years. Mr. Hime enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, sunflowers, visiting at Savannah Healthcare and going to revivals and singings.

Mr. Hime departed this life on March 15, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 27 days.

In addition to his wife Mary Lucille, whom he had been married to for 67 years, he is survived by his daughters, Brenda Copeland and her husband Phillip, Glenda Short and Judith Young and her husband Bruce, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
