W. T. Rinks

W. T. "Buss" Rinks, age 93 of Bolivar, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bolivar.He was born October 28, 1914 in Haywood County to the late John William and Pearl Dancer Rinks. He married Callie Davis December 7, 1935 and worked as a farmer and carpenter, managing Skytop Farms for several years. He was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church. His wife preceded him in death March 6, 2004.Survivors include four daughters, Hilda Butler of Bartlett, Nancy Weems, Marilyn Wood and Sandy Keith, all of Bolivar; two sisters, Gert Davis of Bells and Bessie Carmichael of Chicago; nine grandchildren, and several great-grand- and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Billy Darrell Rinks April 30, 2006 and several brothers ans sisters.
