W. J. Darby

W. J. Darby was born November 29, 1927 in Ramer, Tennessee the son of the late Ralph and Laura Pearl Shelton Darby.He was united in marriage to Frances Everett . Mrs. Darby preceded him in death on September 19, 2002.Mr. Darby was a retired fireman from the City of West Memphis.Mr. Darby departed this life on July 11, 2008 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 80 Years, 7 Months, 12 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Pat Looney and husband Ron of Jonesboro, AR; two sisters, Evelyn Taylor of Michie, TN, Lessie McCarter of Corinth, MS.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Darby was preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Whaley, Justine Darby.
