W. A. Goodrum

Weymon A. Goodrum was born on Monday, October 29, 1917, in McNairy County, the son of the late James Goodrum and Nancy Locke Goodrum. He was married to Eddie Lou Russom who preceded him in death on February 10, 1996. He was a member of Piney Grove Church of God and a farmer.Mr. Goodrum departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2006, in Selmer, Tennessee, at the age of 88 Years, 7 Months, and 25 Days.Survivors are 2 daughters, Diane Rushing of Collierville, Tennessee, and Janet Browder of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; also 5 sons, Gary Goodrum of Selmer, Russell Goodrum of Bethel Springs, Darrell Goodrum of Selmer, Jeff Goodrum of Selmer, and Sammy Goodrum of Bethel Springs.12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.Other than his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter Linda Goodrum.
