Mr. Doyle passed away Tuesday morning at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
A native of Hardeman County, he worked as a glazer with Pittsburgh Plate Glass in the 1950's and was a glazing superintendent with Alum Glass in Boca Raton, Florida. He was born November 17, 1932, son of the late Samuel Vernon Doyle and Willie Delia Owens Doyle and grew up here, living in Memphis and Knoxville from 1956-63. He moved back to Memphis in 1963 and had lived here for 14 years. He was active as a volunteer fireman for the city of Germantown and was a member of the Local #242 Painters and Allied Trades. Mr. Doyle was a Baptist in belief.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee' Johnson of Huntingdon and Sheila Ann McCullough of Prattville, AL; two sons, William Ronnie Doyle of Moncks Corner, SC and Kenneth Wayne Doyle of Bolivar; a sister, Nell Farr of Bolivar; a brother, Jewell Doyle of Boca Raton, FL; 12 grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, Brittany Wynne, Rhianna Johnson, William Jason Doyle, Matthew Daniel Doyle, Elizabeth Carol Doyle, Misty Nicole Brown, Stacy Lena Reyes, Jerry Robin George, Andy Peppers, David McCullough and Robert Zachary Doyle; and nine great grandchildren, Preston Doyle Brown, Kirstyn Faith Brown, Christian Hartley, Kaylob Elijah Doyle, Kailey Christiana Reyes, Amber George Hankins, Dominic Doyle, Hannah George and Maseline Doyle. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Cross and Daucus Dial and two brothers, Samuel and Burnell Doyle.
