Mrs. Woods passed away Wednesday evening at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of James Allen "Buster" Woods, who died February 24, 1981 after 47 years of marriage, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Woods was born in Fayette County to the late Hosey and Annie Bishop and lived all of her life in Hickory Valley. She also worked at Lake's Grocery and Wood's Service Station and was a member of Holmes Memorial Methodist Church in Hickory Valley.
She is survived by a son, Raymond "Rusty" Woods of Lobelville; a grandson, Blaine Woods of Spring Hill; a brother, Drewey Bishop of Hickory Valley; and nieces and nephews.
