Virginia Ann Reeves Scott

Virginia Ann Reeves Scott of Waynesboro, TN was born January 24, 1954 in Hohenwald, TN, the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Betty Lou Reeves. She was united in marriage to Russell Scott on August 22, 1970.

Mrs. Scott was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company and departed this life on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home at the age of 68 Years, 5 Months, 8 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Scott of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Lisa Gamble and husband, John of Iron City, TN, Carol Beal and husband, Nathan of Gambrills, MD and Christie Murdock and husband, Brian of Sparta, TN; grandchildren, Tayler Chambers and husband, Seth, Matt Gamble and fiancee, Molly; Dylan, Luke and Zadie Murdock and Madisen Beal; a brother, Don Reeves and wife, Sherry of Athens, AL; a sister, Gloria Hobbs of Waynesboro, TN and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Reeves.

Services will be held on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Camryn Eaton and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will be Monday, July 4, 2022 from 11 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Gamble, Matt Gamble, Seth Chambers, Brian Murdock, Nathan Beal and Craig Reeves with honorary pallbearers being Dylan and Luke Murdock.
