Virginia Moore

Virginia Evelyn Lineberry Moore was born November 11, 1926 in Perry County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ethridge and Vallie Opal Waters Lineberry. 

On August 16, 1947, she was united in marriage to Lon Edward Moore, who preceded her in death on November 29, 1996.

In her younger years, Virginia was a school teacher. She worked for Frank Hughes School as a foster grandparent. In her later years, Virginia was a Sewing Machine Operator for Clifton Manufacturing. She was a member of Riverside Methodist Church, where she served as Treasurer. Virginia was also a member of Eastern Star. Virginia enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family. 

She is survived by her son, Dennis H. Moore and wife Sandra of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Audrey Winters of Nashville, Tennessee, Willie Ann McPeake of Lexington, Tennessee, Doris June Wendell of Williamsburg, Virginia, Patricia Chesnut of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Margie N. McGahey of Nashville, Tennessee; brothers, Ethridge Rex Lineberry of Savannah, Tennessee, and Dexter Leon Lineberry of Linden, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and Husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Wilburn Lineberry.
