Virginia Faye Landreth

Virginia Faye Landreth of Adamsville, TN was born September 8, 1930 in Enville, TN the daughter of the late Ira Gerome and Dafa Weeks Tidwell. She departed this life on October 11, 2016 in Selmer, TN at the age of 86 Years, 1 Month, 3 Days. She was united in marriage to Hobert Landreth on December 10, 1949. Mr. Landreth preceded her in death on July 7, 1997.

Mrs. Landreth retired from Garan Mfg. after 36 years of service. She was a 1949 graduate of Adamsville High School. She was a member of Love and Truth Church in Adamsville. Mrs. Landreth loved going to church, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crocheting. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by a son, Mike Landreth and wife Joyce of Lexington, TN; a daughter, Sandra Davis and husband Terry of Adamsville, TN; a grandson, Chris Plunk and wife Jessica of Adamsville, TN; two great grandchildren, Sophie Belle Plunk and Ty Rylee Plunk; a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Landreth was preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Tidwell.

Funeral services will be held on October 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville, TN Bro. W. D. McCollum, Bro. Eddie Cupples, and Bro. Philip Meek Officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville.
