Mrs. King died Friday morning at her home in Bolivar.
The daughter of the late Ive and Alice Gertrude Thornton Cox, she lived in Hardeman County most all of her life. She was employed by Kilgore for 13 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Bishop of Bolivar, Lanette King of Toone and Penny Blalock of Atoka; sons, Leon and Timothy King, both of Toone and Ray King of Memphis; sisters, Annie Bell Carver of LInden and Peggy Ann Byers of Parsons; brother, James Alvin "Buddy" Cox of Blue Goose, TN; her former husband, Edward King of Bolivar; and 6 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters and two brothers.
