Virginia Daphene Greer

Virginia Daphene Killingsworth Greer of Michie, Tennessee, was born on Tuesday, December 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Dee and Martha Thacker Killingsworth. She married Kenneth B. Greer on July 20, 1944. Mr. Greer preceded her in death on October 6, 1997.Mrs. Greer was a homemaker, a member of Michie First Baptist Church and Sunday School teacher for 52 years.She passed from this life on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at her home in Michie at the age of 79 years 8 months and 16 days.Survivors are her children Beverly Jenkins and husband Wayne of Michie, Tennessee, Donna Hutchins and husband Burton of Jackson, Tennessee, Debbie Wigginton and husband Tim of Iuka, Mississippi, Johnny Greer and wife Debbie of Michie, Tennessee, and Jerry Greer of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Also survived by her siblings Lorraine Rodgers of Shiloh, Tennessee, Nell Bennett of Little Rock, Arkansas, Shirley Schmiederer of St. Louis, Missouri, Irene Campbell of Byhalia, Mississippi, Dee Killingsworth Jr. of Milan, Tennessee, Alton Killingsworth of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Larry Killingsworth of Shiloh, Tennessee. 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Carroll, a son Kenneth Greer, and 2 brothers Warner Killingsworth and Lester Killingsworth
