Mrs.Coston passed away Saturday evening at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Floyd Coston, who survives, she was retired as a secretary for Coston Construction Company in Memphis. She was born to Chester Floyd Freeman and Effie Laura McKnight Freeman, both of whom preceded her in death and lived in Memphis prior to moving to Pocahontas around twenty years ago. She was a communicant at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bolivar.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on August 8, 1959, survivors include two daughters, Helen Burton of Louann, Ark., and Doreen Harris of Collierville; two sons, Floyd Leonard Coston, Jr. of Atoka and John David Coston of Millington; a sister, Joyce Burns and a brother, Donnie Freeman, both of Emory, Tex.; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Floyd Freeman, Joe Chester Freeman, Charles Edgar Freeman and Rickey Dean Freeman; a sister, Shirley Dingler and an infant daughter, Deborah Mae Gilchrist.
