Virginia Bond was born May 30, 1930 in Okalona, Mississippi the daughter of the late Richard Earvy and Jo Kate Shipman White.

She departed this life on June 29, 2006 at McNairy Ragional Hospital in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 years and 30 days.
Ms. Bond is survived by one daughter, Vivian Y. Jordon of Selmer, Tennessee;
3 sons: Eddie Joe Smith and Gregory Martin Bond, both of Counce, Tennessee and Richard Doyle Bond of Crossroads, Mississippi;
7 grandchildren: Misty Shannon Smith Milligan, Travis Bond, Ashley Bond, Colton Bond, Holly Bond, Jonathan Bond, and Jonathan Tacker;
3 great-grandchidren: Bethany Liggett, Bradley Tacker and Romee Tacker; and one brother, Billy Richard White of Livingston, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles A. White and her grandparents, Ed and Ida White and Homer and Blanche Shipman.
