Graveside services for Virgil Harris Merriman, age 78, of Waynesboro, TN will be on Sunday, November 12, 2006, 1:30 pm Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN with James Kayler officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday November 11, 2006 form 5:00-8:00 pm and on Sunday November 12 from 10:00 am until 1:15 pm Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro
Virgil Harris Merriman a native of Wayne County, TN died on Saturday November 11, 2006 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro. He was born on April 23, 1928 in Wayne County to the late Homer Virgil and Mary Maudie Sims Merriman.
Virgil was a retired salesman, member of the Methodist Church and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
