Virgie Christine Murray Berry

Services for Virgie Christine Thompson Daniel Murray Berry, age 90, a resident of Wayne County Nursing Home, formerly of Collinwood, will be 11:00 am Monday, September 15, 2008 at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood with Mark Nelson and Emerald Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 5:30-9:00 pm and Monday, September 15, 2008 from 9:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, TN.



Pallbearers will be Dennis Brewer, Darryl Brewer, Stephen Stults, Stan Daniel, Jonathan Daniel, Kelby Daniel, Grant Daniel, Ricky Holt, Thomas Holt, Brad Holt, Brent Thompson, and Nicholas Thompson.



Mrs. Berry died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center. A life long resident of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Flora Daniel Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Daniel, Walter Murray, and Clyde Berry; and a daughter, Frances Jane Daniel; and a great-grandson, Byron Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.



She is survived by daughters, Peggy Brewer and her husband Carlin , Betty Jo Stults and her husband Ray all of Iron City, TN; Genene Holt and her husband Ronald and Gayle Thompson and her husband Harold all of Collinwood, TN; sons, Charles Daniel and his wife Patricia of Iron City, TN and Carl Fred Daniel and his wife Barbara of Collinwood, TN;



20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren;



6 step children and several step grandchildren
