Virgie L. Hill

Mrs. Hill, age 73, departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home near Toone, TN.  

Virgie Lou Kiestler was born April 7, 1950, near Bethel Springs, TN, the daughter of John Kiestler and Peggy Joyce Dunaho Sparks.  She was married to James Larry Hill on October 19, 1971.  She worked at Western State Mental Institution and Bolivar General Hospital as a supply clerk.  She enjoyed working in her flowers and loved her family dearly.  She held the highest degree as a member of the Ladies of the Moose, that of Senior Regent.  She also served on the Historical Zoning Board for about 10 years.  Mrs. Hill lived most of her life in Hardeman County and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son James Hill and his wife Christie of Toone; several grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister, Patty Franks, of Hornsby and a brother, Joseph Kiestler, of Jackson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Dunaho, and a great-grandson, Braxton Lane Adkisson.
