Vinnie Mae Zachary

Vinnie Mae Plunk Zachary was born August 28, 1925, in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Lessie Browder Plunk.



Mrs. Zachary was united in marraige to Wayne Zachary. After retiring, she and her husband moved to Middleton, Tennessee and lived on their farm for over 19 years. She was Methodist in belief and attended Middleton United Methodist Church.



Prior to being a full time mother and homemaker, Mrs. Plunk worked for Sears Roebuck and Union Planters Bank. She was actively involved in school and extracurricular activities with her children and friends. After raising her children she retired from Carl's Bakery at Robilio and Sarno's grocery. Throughout life, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, and friends which included several senior citizen tours.



She passed from this life on May 2, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Zachary is survived by her husband, Wayne Zachary of Middleton, a daughter, Cathy Moore of Bartlett, Tennessee; a son, James I. Zachary of Cordova, Tennessee; four grandhildren, Angela Klein, Greg Moore both of Bartlett, Justin Zachary, Brennan Zachary both of Cordova, and four great grandchildren.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Zachary was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
