Vinnie Jane Skaggs

Services for Vinnie Jane Skaggs, age 70, of Collinwood, TN will be Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, with Greg Eaton and Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge. Visitation will be Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 4 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jason and Gary Skaggs, David Varela, Ernie, Darrell, and David West.



She died at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, AL, on Friday, October 5, 2007.



A native of Wayne County, TN, Mrs. Skaggs was a homemaker, a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewy and Jewell Hanback Stults, son, Roger M. Skaggs, brother, Jerry Stults, sisters, Elfreda Joo and Sarah Ellen Holt.



Survivors, husband, Dalton W. Skaggs, Collinwood, TN; son, Larry W. Skaggs, Florence, AL; daughter, Janie Sue Tilley, Collinwood, TN; brothers, Ellis and Jimmy Stults both of Southbend, IN, Ledford Stults, Mishawaka, IN, Russell E. Stults, Iron City;

TN; sisters, Syble Banks, Cypress Inn, TN, Pauline West, Iron City, TN, Judy Miller, Smyrna, TN; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
