Vilda Thrasher Phillips

Vilda Thrasher Phillips was born on January 6, 1913 in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late General Hence and Rachel Robnett Thrasher.
On July 9, 1933 she was united in marriage to William Thomas Phillips who preceded her in death on June 27, 1973. Mrs. Phillips was a seamstress and a member of New Hope Community Church.
She departed this life on October 11, 2005 at NHC in Dickson, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 5 days.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by
3 grandchildren: Lisa Kent of Dickson, Tennessee,
Gary Phillips of Centerville, Tennessee,
Joni Prince of Centerville, Tennessee;
2 great-grandchildren: Adam Kent and Jordan McIntosh;
one brother: J.C. Thrasher of Savannah, Tennessee;
and one sister: Rheba Bradley of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons: James H. and William Gordon Phillips, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
