VICKIE MCCORMICK

Henderson, TN: Vickie Wahnell Vinson McCormick, age 75 passed away March 11, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born December 7, 1949, in Enville, TN the daughter of the late Emmett Clyde and Elouise Ellis Vinson. She attended school in Enville. She was primarily a homemaker and then also worked at the American Legion, Post 90 in Jackson as a waitress.

She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and watching soap operas.

Two sons, Wilson Tant “Tuffy” Hathcote of Jackson and Charles “Chuck” Richard Hathcote of Kenton, TN.; a brother, Johnny Ray Vinson of Henderson and James Vinson (Debbie) of Enville and two sisters, Barbara Ann Patterson of Parsons and Rose Vinson of Jackson; one grandson, Brandon Hathcote and one great grandson, Christopher Lee Hathcote. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Larry Vinson and Ricky Vinson and two sisters, Clara Phillips and Linda Morris.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Anthony Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Cabo Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday service time.
