Vickie Lynn Barber Vickie Lynn Barber was born August 24, 1958 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ronald Christopherson and Cary Lee Wolhfert Hamilton.
Vickie had worked for many years in the home video movie industry, receiving numerous awards and accolades for her work and leadership. She was currently Vice President of Sales and Sales Communications for Paramount Pictures, Los Angeles, California. She was a loving mother, beloved wife and an inspiration to all who knew her.
On Wednesday, March 31, 2010, Vickie passed away peacefully after an extended and courageous 4-½ year battle with breast cancer at the age of 51 years, 7 months and 7 days. Vickie had asked that her deepest thanks and appreciation be extended to the staffs of Tennessee Cancer Specialists, Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center, Mercy West Hospital, Mercy Hospice Care in Knoxville and Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles for the loving care they conferred on her during this time.
Vickie is survived by her husband Paul and daughter Brittany of Louisville, Tennessee; her mother, Cary Lee Hamilton, Lebanon, Tennessee; father, Ronald Christopherson, Beloit, Wisconsin; brothers, Michael Christopherson, Lebanon, Tennessee, and Richard [Rick] Christopherson, his wife Diane and niece Cara, of Cleveland, Georgia. She also leaves her kindred sisters, Lael Gray and husband Bobby of Stantonville, Tennessee, Rebecca Fillingim and husband Ralph of Villa Rica, Georgia, Linda Burdsall and husband Tom of Findlay, Ohio, Hope Moore and husband Raybon, and Debbie Wise all of Jackson, Tennessee.
