Funeral services for Versie Butler Holt, age 90, of Collinwood, TN will be conducted on Monday August 21, 2006, 11:00 am Shackelford Chapel, Collinwood, TN with Larry Davis officiating. Interment following in Butler Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Sunday August 20 from 5:00-9:00 pm and on Monday August 21 from 9:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN



Versie Butler Holt a native of Wayne County, TN died on Friday August 18, 2006 at Wayne Medical Center Waynesboro. Mrs. Holt was born on September 7, 1915 to the late Pose and Lillie Daniels Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband; John R. Holt, Sr; sons; Barney; Alfred; Grayford and Wayford Holt and grandmother of the late Darlene Holt and Evan Holt



Mrs. Versie was a homemaker and member of Jehovahs Witness



Survivors; sons; Ollie Holt; Bennie Holt and John Holt, Jr. all of Collinwood,TN Rollie Holt of Cypress Inn, TN;



Harley Holt of Cortez, CO and Joe Holt of Lawrenceburg, TN



Daughters; Dolly Johnson and Polly Steele both of Florence, Ala.
