Vernice Butler of Ramer, Tennessee, was born on February 1, 1925, the son of the late Earl Butler and Maggie Rainey Butler. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of Butler\'s Chapel Baptist Church near Chewalla, Tennessee. He was retired from Dana Corporation in Corinth, Mississippi.He was united in marriage to Gladys M. Reed on February 8, 1946. She preceded him in death on May 14, 2006.Mr. Butler passed from this life on Monday, January 1, 2007, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 81 years, and 11 months.Survivors are his daughter Janice L. Kiser and her husband Jerry of Ramer; Daughters-In-Law Betty and Janice Butler, both of Corinth, Mississippi; Son-In-Law Randy Wood of Lexington, Tennessee; Nephew Donnie Butler of Ramer.7 Grandchildren, 11 Great GrandchildrenA host of other relatives and friends.Other than his parents and wife, Mr. Butler was also preceded in death by a daughter Pat Wood, sons Danny and Dennis Butler, grandson Chuck Butler, and brothers Curtis, Travis, and Nolan Butler
