Vercilee Moore

Vercilee Watson Moore was born April 9, 1925 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Dalton and Beulah Ashe Watson.On November 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Cletus Moore who preceded her in death on December 1, 1999.Mrs. Moore was retired from Brown Shoe Company after 25 years as a payroll clerk. She was a member of the Selmer First Baptist Church and the V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary.She departed this life on May 31, 2007 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 82 Years, 1 Month, 22 Days. Mrs. Moore is survived by a daughter, Patricia Etheridge of Selmer, Tennessee; two sisters, Earline Cox of Bolivar, Tennessee and Gwen Thomas of Jackson, Tennessee and a brother, John Watson of St. Charles, Missouri.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Boleyn and two brothers, James Watson and Joe Watson.
