Vera Louise Kiestler, 81, of Middleton, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Pleasant View Healthcare in Bolivar.
Born October 30, 1924 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Marvin and Daisy Pirtle Kiestler, she was a homemaker. She loved quilting and crocheting and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Services were 11:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with David Cooper officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery near Middleton.
Survivors include one brother, Robert Kiestler of Humboldt; three sisters, Sue Harris of Independence, Miss., Shirley Mathis of Memphis and Betty Drake of Jackson and her special niece, Brenda Hazelwood of Whiteville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Junior Kiestler and three sisters, Ila Arnold, Ruby Fish and Birdie McKinnie.
