Vera Frances Gravett

VERA FRANCES GRAVETTwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 29, 1922 the daughter of the late Lon and Faye Brashier Gant.On May 14, 1944 she was united in marriage to Morris Gravett, who preceded his wife in death on March 10, 1970.Mrs. Gravett was a sewing machine operator for Angelica for 40 years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, which she loved going to church. Mrs. Gravett departed this life on January 23, 2009 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 25 days.She is survived by one daughter, Robbie Spencer of Savannah, Tennessee and 2 sons, Jerry and Jimmy Gravett, both of Savannah, Tennessee7 grandchildren, Pam Pevahouse, Annette Harmon, Michael Gravett, Diana Modlin, Tracy Spencer, William Spencer and Kevin Spencer9 great-grandchildren2 sisters, Betty Lou Roberts of Iuka, Mississippi and Dorothy Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee2 brothers, Elmer Gant and Lon Gant, Jr., both of Savannah, TennesseeMrs. Gravett was also preceded in death by one brother, Tom Gant and one infant brother
